Two weeks before you arrive at Maison Les Terrasses, you receive our welcome guide. Not to bury you in information, but so that you can set off with a clear head, without wondering about the small things.
A guide written for you, not for us
We could simply have sent an address and an access code. But at Maison Les Terrasses we wanted to go further — because we know the best holidays begin with an arrival free of stress.
The guide covers everything you might need, clearly and practically:
- Getting here — the route from Villeréal, the landmarks to look for in the village of Dévillac, and an interactive map from wherever you set off.
- Arrival and keys — we welcome you in person. If your plans change, there is no need to worry: we send you the key box code and come to say hello once you have settled in.
- Wi-Fi, the pool, the air conditioning, the robot mower — everything you need to know about the house, explained in a few lines and illustrated with photos.
- Local favourites — our preferred restaurants in Villeréal, the markets, activities for children, the unmissable sites within half an hour… and plenty more.
Because the small details make the great stays
What comes back most often in our guests’ feedback is the peace of mind the guide brings. Knowing the pool is heated and secure. Understanding how the recycling works in a matter of seconds. Finding the nearest doctor’s number without searching online.
A very spacious house, ideal for eight people, with plenty of room inside and out. Hervé replied kindly to every message… The welcome guide was extremely useful. A memorable family stay — far too short at only a week!

We have also thought about the unexpected: a small mishap with a piece of equipment? A change to your arrival time? The guide has an answer — and we stay reachable by phone, text message or WhatsApp throughout your stay.
A house that respects itself… and respects you
Maison Les Terrasses is a timber house inspired by the traditional tobacco-drying barns of the Lot-et-Garonne, energy self-sufficient thanks to its solar panels. This guide is also a way of bringing you into the commitments we care about:
- Run the dishwasher during the day to make the most of the solar energy.
- Use the compost bin in the garden.
- Close the parasols at the end of the evening to avoid wind damage.
Simple gestures, explained with warmth — because sharing a beautiful house also means sharing the same values.
Ready to plan your stay?
Whether you come as a family, with friends or as a couple, Maison Les Terrasses is designed so that you have only one thing to think about: enjoying it.
And until then, if you have the slightest question, do write to us.
