We fell for the Périgord, and still more for the north of the Lot-et-Garonne, where it meets the Dordogne. After many years living in Normandy, we chose to set down our bags here.

Foie gras, truffles, the wines of Bergerac, Agen prunes — a generous cooking that celebrates each season with pride.

A house that chose us as much as we chose it

Inspired by the old tobacco-drying barns that once punctuated the Lot-et-Garonne landscape, this contemporary timber house was never an investment — it was love at first sight. Its singular character, its warmth, the way it settles into the landscape without trying to impress it: all of that spoke to us straight away.
