You can also visit one of the many flea and antique markets or go back in time at the medieval festivals of Monpazier and Monflanquin.

Castles and vineyards, the perfect union
Visit Biron castle, Bonaguil castle or Josephine Baker’s castle, Les Milandes, with its magnificent spectacle of birds of prey.
Unforgettable is the wine tasting at the castle of Monbazillac. Explanations about the origins of this sweet white wine can be found in the museum. For the red wines of Bergerac, Duras and Cahors, you can visit one of the vineyards in the region.
SPORTS AND LEISURE
Walk or cycle, and enjoy one of the many routes through the varied hilly landscape. For mountain bikers, too, there are many possibilities, from leisure to experience. You don’t have a bike with you? No problem, because you can rent one in the nearby village Villeréal.
Swimming is also possible in the lake near Lougratte (20 minutes away).
A must for a canoe trip
A canoe trip on the Dordogne, the Vézère or the Lot is not to be missed. The tours are suitable for young and old alike and will take you through several castles and unique places.
There are several parks in the area offering lots of fun for the whole family. In the surrounding area you will find water parks such as Walibi, tree climbing in the Parc-en-ciel and various other theme parks.
If you like caves, there is plenty to choose from. Or discover the Brayssou reservoir bird reserve near Tourliac.
